Project Description

How to improve upon an already lovely garden, and provide year-round enjoyment of the lush landscaping presented quite a challenge. The client desired not only a space that would truly complement their existing eclectic 1870’s home, but would also provide a strong relationship between it, the garden, and the location of a rare and prized Japanese maple.  Taking an existing damp and underutilized brick patio, and creating a refined conservatory appropriately scaled to the adjacent landscape, this addition creates a timeless and elegant space that enhances not only the existing structure’s architecture inside and out, but also augments the garden.
